Tuscarora Wayne Mutual Foundation Supports Local 4-H Club and Helping Hand Food Pantry
The Tuscarora Wayne Insurance Company and the Tuscarora Wayne Mutual Foundation, Wyalusing, PA, participated in the 2022 4-H livestock auction held at the Wyoming County Fair on Saturday, September 3. The Company and Foundation won the bid for a 281-pound hog named Gilbert. Gilbert was raised by Aleah Robinson who attends the Tunkhannock Area School District, grade 7. This is Aleah’s first year as a member of the 4-H Endless Mountain Community Club.
Over 200 pounds of pork cuts were donated to the Helping Hands Food Pantry, Wyalusing, PA. Helping Hands is a community outreach pantry that helps alleviate food insecurity and raises awareness of hunger in the communities it serves.
